Frequently Asked Questions
-
All of the providers at Crow City Counseling operate from the idea that the relationship we build with clients is essential to the process, and that having a good working relationship produces the best possible outcomes for clients. We encourage you to visit our Team page and read the bios of each therapist to learn more about them. From there please schedule a free consultation to ask any questions you might have and get to know them a bit better before signing any paperwork or having an initial session.
A consultation is an online meeting and will usually only last about 15 minutes. We’ve found that ensuring a good fit before getting officially started with the therapy process can save you hours of your life by helping you to determine if you feel like you will be able to work well with your therapist.

We offer group, individual, couples, and family counseling. The services offered vary by which provider you work with.

Session fees are calculated based on the type of service (group, individual, couples, family), the length of the session, and the training and experience level of the provider.
We accept Wellmark BlueCross BlueShield insurance. If you choose to use your health insurance benefits, we encourage you to call the number on your insurance card to verify coverage, copay/coinsurance, deductible, and your out-of-pocket maximum.

Crow City Counseling offers outpatient services for mental health, relationship issues, career counseling, and life transitions. Our providers are not trained to handle crisis or emergency counseling and we do not have the support or infrastructure to assist with these needs.
If you have an established relationship with one of our providers and happen to have a crisis, they will surely help you navigate the event and guide you to necessary resources. If the crisis is ongoing they will refer you to a more appropriate, higher level of care as needed.
